The Route Visualisation provides an instant overview of each MMT's progress and status. You can track individual legs or see the final completion state in one place.
Follow the guide below to understand how to interpret this visualisation:
Step 1: Go to the Streamliner in your Community.
Enter the Community page. You will find the Streamliner under ‘Plugins’ on the right side.
Step 2: Go to the 'Multimodal Transport' tab and add MMT to basket.
Once you've entered the SBA app, you will find the 'Multimodal Transport' tab in the center/top of the page.
Since the containers don't have transport orders or shipments yet, the bullets aren't filled with a solid color.
- When both departure and arrival for bullets are estimated, bullet looks like a circle with a hatch.
- Bullets are empty when there are no estimated dates for POD.
Step 3: Create a transport order for the first leg in container route.
Click on the MMT that needs a transport order and add to basket.
Click 'Assign to carrier' in basket and create a TO.
For your convenience, an expansion button has been added to the create/edit transport order screen. Click on it and you will see the calendar icon for the leg you're creating an TO for.
Result: When TO is created, first line and second bullet become hatched and darker.
Step 4: Complete created Transport order.
See How to complete a Transport order without a shipment
Result: Departure for first bullet completed (right half filled) and Arrival for second bullet completed (left half filled), leg line become solid.
Step 5: Create a transport order for the second leg in container route.
Just repeat actions from 3-4 steps.
Result: When second TO is created, second line and Destination (bigger one) bullet become hatched and darker.
Complete TO in any convenient way.
Result: Departure for second bullet completed (full filled) and Arrival for Destination bullet completed (left half filled), leg line become solid.
Step 6: Create a transport order for the last leg in container route.
Just repeat actions from 3-4 steps.
Result: Departure for last bullet completed (full filled) and last line become solid.
This example shows a container in which all bullets had a completed transport order
But can be a situation when in container only last bullet has a completed transport order. In this case only last bullet and last line will be solid.
In both cases containers have 'Completed' status and not active for any actions any more.
- Dashed line with warning icon displays if the order is scheduled in a way that conflicts with route details.
Filtration feature
When you click on a transport leg, an informational pop-up window appears. Simultaneously, this selected leg is automatically added to the page filters, and only those containers that have the same transport leg will be displayed on the page.
If selected leg has a TO linked, this TO will be also included in filter.
If no TO, then legs will be filtered only by Departure and Arrival.
NOTE: This filter cannot be modified, only reset if needed.
