In this article we explain how to create a shipment for one or few containers.
Step 1: Go to the Streamliner in your Community
Go to the Dashboard and enter the Community page. You will find the Streamliner under ‘Plugins’ on the right side.
Step 2: Go to the 'Multimodal Transport' tab
Once you've entered the Streamliner, you will find the 'Multimodal Transport' tab in the center/top of the page.
Step 3: Add Container(s) to the basket
Click on the Container. The right pane will open and will show the button 'Add to basket' . Click on 'Add to basket', the number of containers in the basket will increase.
You can do this for multiple Containers, one after the other. Once you've added all Containers for a single zone, click on the blue 'Basket' button in the top right corner.
Click on ‘Book’ button.
Step 4: Create the shipment
Streamliner will guide you through a simple slot booking process based upon your availability and resources.
Some details:
- Packaging units field is disabled and each container = 1 bulk (default value for now).
- Reference field is not required for booking, but you can add any value if needed.
Just click ‘Book slot’ in the right upper corner if selected date & slot are ok. Click cancel, the cross on the left right top, to cancel this operation and return to the MMT overview.
Congrats: you just booked your first delivery!
What if you want to book outside the offered availability
When you select a time slot where one of the rules is not respected, the time slot turns into a red time slot and a warning is shown which rule(s) that are not respected.
The most common issues are the following:
- A time slot is chosen outside opening hours
- There are no resources available
- The slot is already fully booked
- ...
Please select another date/time to book a slot.
