Ways to Search and Filter Containers
You can search and filter containers in three different ways:
1. Search field allows you to quickly search for containers by entering the number.
Simply type the number of container and the system will show relevant results that match your query.
This method works well for searching through large volumes of containers and finding exact matches quickly.
2. Main Filter Panel gives you a more structured way to apply filters based on multiple attributes and locations.
From the panel, you can either select an existing attribute.
This method is ideal for more detailed and complex filtering, especially when you want to combine multiple filters.
3. Attribute Filter Icon in the Container Detail Panel. When viewing the detailed information of a container, you’ll see an attribute filter icon next to each individual attribute.
You can click on this icon to filter containers based on that specific attribute directly from the detail view.
For example, if you’re viewing a container and want to see all other containers with the same Forwarder or Priority, simply click the filter icon next to that attribute.
This method provides a quick and focused way to filter containers by attributes that are already visible in the container’s details.
Steps for filtering and searching for MMTs
Step 1: Go to the Streamliner in your Community
Enter the Community page. You will find the Streamliner under ‘Plugins’ on the right side.
Step 2: Go to the 'Multimodal Transport' tab
Once you've entered the SBA app, you will find the 'Multimodal Transport' tab in the center/top of the page.
Search by container number
You can use the search box in the upper left corner to search for MM Transports with a specific container number. There is no need to use wildcard symbols: every container that contains the string you typed in will show you either the container number.
Filter by adjusting ‘Filters’ button
The second option is the 'Filters' button. If you click on it, a panel appears in which you can set your filter values.
You can filter MMTs by attributes or location. Just click on arrow and you will see extra fields.
Filtering MMTs by attributes
You can filter containers based on their attributes, where each attribute is a key-value pair. This allows you to easily narrow down your container selection according to specific criteria.
You can choose key & value from a suggested list of existing attributes that have been set for the containers. To select the value, simply click on it from the dropdown menu. Also possible to enter the value.
You can apply an unlimited number of attributes. The system will automatically display new empty field above the current attribute once you finish entering the key and value for the existing one.
Filter MMTs by locations
Next to the attributes filter, you’ll find an additional filter labeled 'Location,' which allows you to refine your search based on location-specific settings.
By clicking on this option, you'll unlock a variety of search possibilities. You can select a location from a dropdown list, filter by ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), or even use the integrated calendar to specify a particular date for the estimated arrival time.
For filtering by ETA, firstly you need first to specify the location, type and only then start filtering by dates.
Once the filters are applied, the container list will display only those that match the selected attributes.
You can adjust or remove filters at any time to refine your filtering further.
For removing single filter only, click on 'X' button.
To remove all applied filters, click the “Reset” button.
Viewing Filtered Results
Once all filter settings are applied, the system will display only those containers that match all of the selected criteria.
This means that each container shown in the results must meet every attribute and condition you've specified in the filter - ensuring a precise and relevant selection.
Attribute Filter Icon
When viewing the detailed information of a container, you’ll see an attribute filter icon next to each individual attribute.
You can click on this icon to filter containers based on that specific attribute directly from the detail view, this attribute will be shown on Main Filter Panel.
You can apply an unlimited number of attribute filters.
You can remove a filtering by selected attribute from the detail pane as well.
These three methods give you a flexible and powerful way to find exactly the containers you're looking for, whether you prefer to search by number, use detailed filters, or filter directly from an attribute in the container’s detail view.
