Orders are dispositions to deliver goods. In the Streamliner, Orders can be created by the Receiver, containing information such as Supplier, foreseen delivery date, number of articles etc. The list of orders that is opened by default are all actuals orders, still to deliver partially or complete.
However, before the Supplier gets busy to deliver the goods, the Order needs to be validated by the Receiver. Orders awaiting validation will have the following notification:

Then, the Order is placed in one or multiple Shipments in order to be delivered to the designated Location. Once the Shipments are scheduled, the Order receives a status ‘Booked’. When fully shipped, it changes the status to ‘Completed’. You can read more about the different statuses in the knowledge base.
But we all know, the reality sometimes writes bumpy scenarios and completing an Order is results impossible. What then?
Well, there are different possibilities. The Receiver can, for instance, cancel the Order. That can happen if the Order was issued but cannot be delivered because the goods are out of stock.
Moreover, the Order can simply be deleted. It can happen if, for instance, the Order has been issued by mistake.
But what if the Order has been issued and the Supplier does not react? Then the Order receives an overdue status. That can also trigger a notification for the Supplier to get busy! Overdue notifications are configurable by the Receiver for each community.
What else?
To facilitate the communication, both Receiver and Supplier can add comments under Orders.
