Users can be deleted by the 'Primary Owner' and the 'Company Owner(s)' .
When you delete a user, the user is no longer able to sign into the platform. All personal information of this user will be deleted, making this user anonymous. All messages or comments that are placed by this user are not deleted. This is company information related to the order management process.
There are 2 cases that need extra attention
- You can't delete the primary owner. You will need to stop collaboration in the community first and then you can deny the invitation of the company that invited you to join the community.
- If the user that you want to delete is the last user in any of the communities which are used by your company with a new user, Streamliner will forbid to delete this user. You first have to add a new member of your users in that community and who becomes community manager from your company in that community.
You will see following message if this user is the last member in community from your company.
Step 1: Go to the 'Users' tab
Step 2: Select the user
Select the user that you want to delete by clicking on the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Delete user
Once you're on the 'Edit User' page, scroll all the way down and click on the 'Delete this user' button.
A window will pop up asking you to confirm: click on confirm' if you are sure you want to delete this user.
