In this article we will explain how to combine transport orders of the same or from different suppliers into 1 shipment.
Instead of creating different shipments (slots) to deliver, it's more convenient for you as a carrier to combine different transport orders into 1 shipment
This saves you time and money and will also save resources in the warehouse.
The better you load your truck the more savings you will do.
1. Create shipment with multiple transport orders.
Go to transport orders
You can put transport orders that need to be delivered to the same location in the same basket, If you want to do this there are a few conditions:
-
- The transport orders have to go to the same location.
- The receiver must allow zones to be combined if the zones are different.
You can see in this picture above that you can put different transport orders in the basket that have a different suppliers and different pick up location.
There is no limit in the numbers of suppliers that you can combine or in the number of transport orders you can add to a shipment.
But it's up to you to respect the maximum load
Click on basket and Book
The details will show you all your transport orders.
You can click on the arrow shown in the picture to show more details of your transport order. If you do this it will look like this.
You can also expand your order or transport order list, this is done the same way as the transport orders in the picture above. The order list or transport order list can be collapsed or expand, this is very useful if you have a lot of transport orders to show inside the shipment.
All packaging units or all combined transport orders are presented as one total som.
Selecting a slot behaves identical as a shipment with one transport order.
Confirm with Book slot
2. Add a transport order to an existing shipment.
Also this is very simple.
- Go to your shipments
- Select the shipment you want to extend
- Edit the shipment
- And simply use the '+' to add a transport order. The list will show all possible transport order for same location/zone.
But up to you to respect maximum load!
Enjoy all functionality of Streamliner!
