Every user can manage their own email notification preferences in Streamliner, the slot booking and order management app.
In addition, administrators or users with a higher role can manage the general notification settings for users with a lower role.
Step 1: Go to the Users section
Step 2: Select the user.
Select the user for whom you want to change the notification settings.
Step 3: Enable or Disable General Notifications
Use the slider to enable or disable email notifications from the Streamliner app.
Please note: Platform notifications, such as password reset emails, cannot be disabled.
This switch controls notifications on a general level:
- Enabled → The user can fine-tune which notifications they want to receive.
- Disabled → All Streamliner email notifications are turned off.
Fine-Tuning Notifications per Community
If general notifications are enabled, users can customize notifications at community level.
Step 4: Go to the member section in the concerned community
Open the relevant community and navigate to the Members section.
Step 5: Open your Member settings
Select yourself as a member to manage your specific notification settings.
General notification settings can be changed by administrators.
Community-level notification preferences can only be changed by the user themselves.
Step 6: Customize YOUR notifications
Select Edit to update your notification preferences, then click Save.
The list of available notifications is the same for all roles. However, the notifications you can enable depend on your company’s role in the community:
- Receiver
- Supplier
- Carrier
- Principal
- Forwarder
Notifications that do not apply to your role are disabled by default and cannot be enabled.
You're All Set!
Your Streamliner notification preferences are now updated.
